Projectile Motion : An object thrown in the air with initial velocity in any direction, making some angle with the horizontal, moving freely under the action of gravity is called projectile.

Mathematically,

 

Consider displacement in horizontal direction,

Displacement = Velocity x time

X= ucosθ x t

t = X / ucosθ-----(1)

Time of Ascent (T_A): The time taken by a particle to reach maximum height is called as Time of Ascent.

Total time of projectile (T): The time taken by a projectile to complete one flight is called as time of projectile.
