Well of Death
We have seen different types of stunt performed by stunt artist in movies or fair. One of the most famous stunt is well of death. The stunt is the application of circular motion, Let us study this topic with relative visual figures.
Consider a vertical well of radius r as shown in fig A . Let a car is performing horizontal circular motion inside the well.

Horizontal force : Normal reaction 'N' acting towards radius.
Vertical force : a) Weight 'mg' acting downwards.
b) Frictional force 'Fs' acting upward
The Normal reaction N act as centripetal force.
Mathematically,
N = mv2/r ---(1)
The weight mg is balanced by Fs.
mathematically,
Fs = mg ---(2)ยต
