Ventury Tube
Introduction : Ventury tube is a device which is used to measure speed of flow of fluid through a tube. It works on the principle of bernoulli's law.The total energy per unit volume at any point throughout the liquid is constant. Letus understand the mathematics behind ventury tube.

From the diagram above ,consider a tube having fluid flowing in it. The initial point of the tube is having a area of A1 and let the velocity be V1 and pressure at that point be P1. The middle portion of the ventury tube is having constriction so that the area at that point is A1, velocity V2 and pressure P2. Let the tube is placed on a horizontal level.
