Refraction of light
Definition: The phenomenon of bending of light when it travels from one medium to another medium is called as refraction of light.

Laws of refraction :
1) The incident ray and refracted ray always lie on the opposite side of the normal.
2) All the three i.e incident ray, refracted ray, and normal lie in the same medium.
3) Angle of incidence and angle of refraction in the two mediums is related by an equation called snells law.
𝝻1 sin i = 𝝻2sin r
